Turn power off an then on as soon as the carriage starts to move out of home mode turn power off at wall. You can then manually move the carriage out to change the cartridge. Move it back to where it was when you moved it. Restart power and let it return to home.

Replacing cartdiges in sx 200 epaon

Press the ink button on the control panel repeatedly. This will work if at least one cartridge is completely out. With the scanner unit open, then the first press of the ink button will move the cartridge carrier to line up the empty cartridge with an "empty cartridge" mark on the printer. Each subsequent press will cause the next empty cartridge to line up with the mark. Once all of the empty cartridges have been indicated, the next press of the ink button will bring the cartridges into the replacement position.

If you want to change a cartridge when none are empty, you need to enter the Epson Toolbox (with the printer in a Ready state - scanner unit closed, etc). Then use the software to set the printer to change the ink cartridges. When prompted by the software, open the scanner unit and follow the directions for changing the ink cartridges.

If the cartridge carrier isn't moving when you press the ink button, look for anything blocking the path of the carrier. Even small pieces of paper could stop the mechanism. Use a flashlight to check the corners. (You may want to unplug the printer and try moving the cartridge carrier by hand to check below it.) Some models have the cartridge carrier run on a plastic strip that can come out of the guide on the back. Move the strip back and up and down until it is repositioned.

I hope this helps.

How do I change the printe ink cartridge?

Hi There!
Here's what you can do to replace the cartridge
Just open the top cover together with the scanner cover. When the cartridge carrier move in the middle of the printer, it's the time you can replace the catridge, then lift up the top cover for the cartridge carrier & then the cartridges.
In replacing the cartridges, you just have to push the cartridge down the carrier, you will hear a snapping sound then return the top cover for the carrier and the scanner bed.
Hope this helps!

Dell 944 instruction to install new ink cartridge

Replacing Ink Cartridges

CAUTION: Before performing any of the procedures listed in this section, read and

follow the safety information in "CAUTION: SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS" on page 9.

Dell ink cartridges are only available through Dell. You can order more ink online at

www.dell.com/supplies or by phone. To order by phone, see "Ordering Supplies" on page 2.

Dell recommends Dell ink cartridges for your printer. Dell does not provide warranty coverage

for problems caused by using accessories, parts, or components not supplied by Dell.

1 Turn on your printer.

2 Lift the printer unit, and position the scanner support between the tabs to hold it open.

The ink cartridge carrier moves and stops at the loading position unless the printer is busy.

3 Press down on the ink cartridge lever to raise each ink cartridge lid.

4 Remove the old ink cartridges.

5 Store the cartridges in an air-tight container, such as the storage unit you received with

your photo cartridge, or dispose of them properly.

6 If you are installing new ink cartridges, remove the sticker and transparent tape from the

back and bottom of each ink cartridge.

7 Insert the new ink cartridges. Make sure the black or photo ink cartridge is secure in the

left ink cartridge carrier, and the color ink cartridge is secure in the right ink cartridge

carrier.

8 Snap each lid closed.

9 Lift the printer unit, and hold the scanner support up while lowering the printer unit until
it is completely closed.

Where do i insert the ink cartridge in Brother DCP-130C printer?

Turn the printer on and open the top cover. The cartridge carrier should move to the opening. Get the new cartridge ready to install, remove the old one and install the new one. When that is finished, close the top and the cartridge carrier will return to its normal spot, probably do a head cleaning cycle and be reaady to print.
