Phone keeps resetting

If it wont switch back on, then there is not much hope for it. Take it to the carrier that it came from and maybe they can fix it, or at least get it to turn on for you.

the solution is to open up sony ericsson pc suite
then under tools click "phone repair" and follow the prompts
if this fails it means your battery is dead, try charging it and try again

this software glitch is a very common problem with the w980, i would recommend NOT to buy a w980 if you are considering getting one

this seems like a common problem with this phone, as I had the same trouble with mine. I took it in to get fixed and it then worked for a while, but now it is playing up again and keeps turning itself off. Not happy!!!

then u should have latest firmware update weekly..........or turn off ur w980 everyday for 2-3 mins

my walkman is stuck in the logo window its been charging for over 5 hours and still wont turn on when i press the on button
