Memory stick I have just got a sony ericsson w810i and do it came with the memory stick pro it seems it is too big to fit in the slot am i doing something wrong

You will need to purchase an adapter that will fit the SD card slot or USB connector. When connected, use the computer to open the files from your memory card and save them on your computer.

These adapters are available from big box stores and online from eBay and Amazon.

the memory card for sonny ericsson phones is m2, sony ericsson sells adapters for that type of memory card. just bought mine from ebay.

the memory card chip might have been damaged..

Try to format the memory stick from the computer using a card reader and try formatting it using the cellphone

if it's a new memory card, it must be formatted before you're able to use it. there should be a "format memory card" option in your phone options.

so that is what you will have to do buy a full housing for the W810i

the MS pro may need an adapter if it's the mini kind. then that will plug into that slot. it still won't fit the same way as the SD card, so insert it carefully. there should be an indented area for the MSP card to insert.

you might want to check but i think that the w810i can only hold a 2 micro card. thats probaly why its not working. the pantech duo is oen of the ponly phones that can hold the 4.

there may b variable reasons for this kind of the prob , u c that a computer would support all formats that a cell phone would not do , either the files that u have transfered are hidden..so kindly check all these properties and transfer these photographs again...
