Not Working Properly

Alright so I've had this since last x-mas, and it's been fine (regardless of the few freezes here and there). Just a couple weeks ago, i was bored so i thought i'd rate some songs just because i can. After rating the songs, the Mp3 player did the usual auto-shut off after about 5 mins. Ever since then when i try to turn it on, once it gets to the point where it should display Music, Video's, etc. The screen goes white, and it reboots, over and over again. Once in a while it will get through to the menu, But once it does that, it doesn't display any of my songs, says my folder's empty, even tho if i go to settings, and info, it shows that i have 252 songs. Everything else works fine, Video, Radio, Photo. Now the weird thing is once in a while, it WILL display songs, or what I THINK are my songs. It shows all my songs as either unknown's, or a bunch of boxes. So once i try to click either the unkown or the boxes to see which song it is, The Mp3 players goes through the white screen rebooting process, again, and again, and again. I cannot sync new songs to my mp3 player (it either restarts, or just doesn't add them) and i can't do anything through my computer either. I use my Mp3 player and would REALLY appreciate it if someone could please please help me. BTW i've also tried going thru the "restart" process, with holding the record while it's on hold and all that, it does nothing, just sends me back to the white screen process, again, and again, and again

I am having the exact same problem. My mp3 player was given to me as a gift just last christmas, has been working fine besides freezing up every once in a while. but just a few weeks ago, when I turn the sansa on, the screen freezes on sansa intro and then goes blank. after numerous tries back n' forth I finally came to reason my mp3 player has had a funeral after an 11 mth relationship. well then a week later, I turn it on and it said "your track subscription has expired, connect to your PC to renew." At that moment I got excited believing there was hope, connected to my PC even click on rhapsody renew my subscription and all. After that my mp3 would come on, my radio, photo would work just fine, but the moment I go to music and click to play, the screen would freeze then slowly fade to blank.

then days later, it now has went back to the same thing before. when I turn it on the screen just remains completely blank. I am at a lost of what to do. Please help to resolve this issue. For me to not be the same to experience this problem, I am beginning to believe its one of sansa tactics to continue us back to purchase more mp3 players expecially when players have been upgraded. This is very troubling, need help to resolve. thanks 4 letting me share my concerns!

hmmm, both didn't seem to work, just brought me to the usual menu screen, and once i was there my music still wasn't showing up. Was i supposed to hold the buttons be4 it was off, which would make it start up, or was i supposed to hold the buttons as if to power it down?

Hi and welcome to Fixyah,

All you need to do is to bring your laptop to your reseller or bring it to Asus tech support because the warranty for the parts and labor is 1yr.

Food and water freezes but ice cream is soft

Check the door gasket seal.
Open the door for a few seconds and then close.
Immediately open the door again, and, if sealing properly, it should take more pulling force to open the door.

Kenmore Upright Freezer Works Sometime

try a new start relay and overload kit specifically for the make and model freezer you are working on. if compressor can be seen ,the numbers on it can be used to get correct oem start cap, relay ,and overload. if your unit is having starting problems that will usually fix it. if however, the stat is failing to bring it on a new stat is called for. but it sounds like it is having starting problems since you said it was off a long while then still struggled on the overload to start then finally did. if the new start components don't work then new freezer time. compressor replacement is to expensive anymore. good luck

Toshiba Satellite A85-107 PC

This could be due to a bad memory chip, or an overheating problem as the fan isn't working properly. First start by removing the service pack three, it has some issues and has been known to cause software conflicts. Service pack two is just fine. Then, if the problem persists, check to see if the fan is working and running in regular intervals, then the memory.

Freezing/Power Problem

I had the same problem since last week. I suspected the RAM (the add-on 1GB RAM which I installed when I bought my Portege 2 years ago). I removed the addon RAM, could be easily done from the bottom side. I appears to be alright. I am still testing. However, please let me know if you have an addon RAM? If yes, could you please remove and try? Let me know the result by mailing to [email protected].
