Hi my Candy dishwasher model CDI 1012/2 is filling with water then after a few minutes if bleeps and the error code meaning according to the manual is "Longer inlet time. possible cause Faucets is not open" The tap is fully open and the dishwasher is now full of dirty water. Could you please suggest an alternative cause?

providing its not under guarantee remove mains plug and remove door skin from front of door carefully, as it has to go back on, look for any broken wires just above the door hinge, there will be about 10 or 15 wires, its possible that if you have checked what you said have checked properly that one of these wires has got hot and broken (very common fault of all dishwashers aver 3 year old) replace wire with care etc, work safely,

Based on your problem description, you either have no water pressure at the inlet valve or the inlet valve isn't operating and allowing water in. Prior to installation, did you make sure you removed ALL the packing material from everything? Is there any way tha you can check your supply lines for water? Also, some of the new flex water supply lines have built in anti leak 'shuttle valvles' inside them to prevent flooding if the line bursts.. Unfortunately, I don't know how you tied in the supply lines to the dishwasher itself.. If you used the anti-flood type supply lines.. that is another consideration to investogate.. If nothing I suggested resolves your problem.. please elaborate on the method you used to supply water to the system.. Good luck .. and hope I helped you...

Hi Derek if its only been used about as you say ten times it will stil be under gaurantee,just call the supplier and have them solve the problem for you mate it sounds as if the program selector is faulty as it is all eletronic programming and could even be a faulty circuit board.
