Recently the freezer (on my french door bottom-freezer model PFS22MISBB) will abandon its temperature setting (0 degrees) and drift upward. I will catch the freezer temperature as high as 13 degrees when this happens. I press the down button on the temperature setting until it "resets" at 0. It usually only takes one or two pushes of the button to re-engage the control setting to its appropriate 0 degree setting. And after 10 or so hours, the freezer cools down to the appropriate 0 degrees. However, this problem keeps repeating itself. It has probably happened 10 times or so in the last month. Before then, we had used the unit without any problems for about 2 years. What could have changed recently, and what can we do to fix the problem? Thank you for any advice!

Hi,
As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...
Check out this tip that I wrote about that... it is a great place to start trouble shooting your unit...and something that you can do rather then calling a repair person to do a simple thing for you...
