What wrong with the ipod when audio can hear only one side and how to fix this problem? thanks
The Headphones are NOT the problem (at least in my case and many other cases).
If someone could answer the question of HOW TO OPEN THE IPOD AND FIX THE PROBLEM, it would be greatly appreciated. Mostly, it's the opening of the IPod that's the question, I'd like to see if I can just bend the connector inside the input jack for the headphones in order to get a better connection.
Thank you,
P

It's usually not the headphones. the input itself is damaged on one side more than the other (mine has the same issue) so do like dahaka said and don't put the plug in all the way, that works for now. supposedly if your warranty is still valid you can send it to apple to fix or give you a new one.

I tried many good headphones but the problem is still there. Actualy I openned the ipod cover and fixed the connector. This is required handy person to do this task. I am not recommend for those who doesn't have patient and handy to do this fix.
