I have a Magellan fx324 that freezes every time a i use the plot button. The screen displays "loading..." and then nothing happens and it freezes. Every thing else on it works.

No a practical solution, but at least you will get your device repair, after being on hold for 40 minutes I spoke to a very nice rep, unfortunately evethough she didn't admit it, it seems a software problem with the new 2008/2009 map update, in other words no way to fix it, you need to send it for repair, make sure you tell them to update the device with the new 2008/2009 Maps, if not you will have the same problem later on, Good Luck
