Another keypad should do the trick.

Does Eee PC 900 has an on-screen keyboard?

Windows should have the feature. Check Start menu, Accessibility, or something along those lines. Otherwise it may be in Control Panel, do a search for accessibility.

Asus Eee netbook how to disable the numerals when typing letters

Hello, if you're typing numbers instead of letters when you press some keys then you have the digital

Eee pc r101 keyboard not working properly. Some of the keys won't type the correct letters and type the function letter or symbol instead or just random numbers. Also the touch pad and mouse click is...

The keyboard takes a lot of abuse and as durable as it is, they will eventually wear out. It is a very inexpensive part to replace and does not require a lot of skill. The fact that the touch pad is acting up could indicate that they are interconnected. I would replace both. The Touch pad is a more involved part to replace and I would suggest you get some help or pay to have it replaced.

You can order them off of sites like eBay, then watch a YouTube video on how to do it.

Hi, I have an Asus EEE Atom netbook and the J key will not work anymore. At first when I hit the J key, it would keep on typing Js automatically. Now it won't even type Js at all. Any ideas??? Thanks,...

I guess the key j is struck or is dislocated from its seat
if the system is under warrenty you can contact asus who will replace the keyboard
else you will have to open the keyboard and fix it manually

When typing cursor keeps jumping

Generally there is a setting (CONTROL PANEL, MOUSE, Touchpad Tab) to either enable a feature like PALMCHECK or to disable the touchpad while typing. If neither option is shown, then try updating your touchpad driver
