Sound problem after playing a game for a few minutes (doesn't matter what ) the sound drops out after restarting my computer sound works until i start to play another game then it drops out again

Sounds like there is some process being run that is eating up a lot of your RAM. One thing to check is that you are using a 64-bit install of windows if you are using 32-bit it won't matter that you have 6gb as you can only use 3gb with it. It could be that you are running 32-bit and 7 is taking up about a gb of RAM while the games (even when closing) take up 2gb or so. So you could be maxing your 3gb on 32-bit.

Maybe your video card is dying. Maybe the game needs a beefy-er video card

1) go to cameroid.com - to check if the camera is messed up
a) if it works, your computer/camera compatibility is messed up
b) if it doesn't work then your camera is messed up and needs to be fixed.

not sure but think your computer runs out of virtiual memory causing it to restert.

what graphics card are you using because it sounds like that you need a new one..

You have to give your PC time to start-up.. When you first log in to windows, your PC is starting multiple applications that take up memory and processor usage. These programs run in the background after they have been started. So while they are starting and killing your memory and processor, you try and load a game that wants to use all that processor and memory..but it is already getting used by your start-up applications. So your PC is 'overloaded', usually this only makes your PC slow, very slow, for a period of time until those programs are no longer using up resources.

My suggestion... wait a few minutes after you turn it on, before playing a game.... or get more memory and/or a faster processor...

or you could stop some of those app's from running at startup... but giving it a few minutes to 'start-up' is the best solution.

Just Upgrade the laptop RAM to 1 GB.

START - My Computer (RIGHT CLICK) - Properties - Hardware Tab - Device Manager button - click on the sound, video and game controllers - on the drop down menu you should see sound codec - either right click and UPDATE DRIVER - or delete sound codec’s and restart, XP will install suitable sound drivers.
If that doesn’t work then try installing sound drivers from the computer manufacturer.
If you have a big X on the sound codec or your third party drivers than it’s a hardware issue.
If replacing the drivers’ doesn’t work then it's a hardware issue. If you have onboard sound card then you will need to replace the mother board. I hope it's under warranty.

hi my name is wesley. please run a virus scan because about two months ago i had the same problem with my games and it waz a virus that infects 1 specific file in all the games that you play so that the next time you play them they glitch an shut down in the first few minutes. after checking for virus re-install 1 of your games and try to see if it works but before you re-install move all your saved files to a different folder to keep until you have installed agen then you can put them back so you dont lose saved game data.
