I haven't used my DMR-EH50 in about 10 days. I turned it on tonight and pressed the green button for the electronic TV guide. Nothing happened. Tried pressing the Schedule button to check the list of shows to record. Nothing happened. Pressed a number button to change the channel, and the number started flashing on the screen. Pressed the Enter button and nothing happened; the channel didn't change, and the number kept flashing in the upper right corner of the screen. I can access and watch shows already recorded via the Direct Navigator button, but I can't change channels either directly or with the 'cursor' control for channel up/down. Is there some sort of 'reset' command for this unit?

Had this same problem and found the solution elsewhere on the net. Hold down the "1" button and the "Enter" button for aprox 10 seconds while pointing at the player. This "resets" the remote. I was skeptical when I first read this solution but it worked for me!
