I had to replace the battery on my 206 and now the radio doesnt work hmm, Ive not got he code and dont seem to be able to get it out of the dashboard to get the numbers needed. I would be very happy if anyone can help me, the only info on the radio is RD1 on the front and it is a 2,0 l diesel year 2000 vin is vf32arhfy41369725 many thanks Ivar
First make sure that the code has not been noted somewhere within the car (underneath the ash tray, glove box , rear of sun visor etc)
To see if your code is available here for free then the radio will have to be removed from the dashboard in order to identify it (and if you are lucky, someone may have written the code on the casing ) .
Radio removal instructions can be found here

If not then POST ANOTHER QUESTION
quoting the radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY LABELS ,BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING
Also quote the MAKE + model of CAR
note: Unfortunately not all radios can be decoded using the Serial Number
If not then try your Main Dealer ...........or take it into a Decode Service who will plug in a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM). This takes a few minutes and shouldn`t be too expensive
