We have a panasonic 42 inch plasma, less than 3 weeks old. When connected to our play station or dvd player, there is a white line at the top left of screen, only half way accross then stops. Tried changing the AV and scart connections but no difference. Works perfect on tv mode and other consoles. Can you help? L.

Ten months only tv,ur tv still under warrenty,call Samsung wright away.Take ur manufacture warrenty repair.The tv main Tuner signal board is developing a problems.
Be sure the 3 video wires are color matched on both ends. Try a different cable. Connect another device like dvd player to that same Component input if it's ok then cable box is the problem. If still B/W then replaced a/v or main board.
it you have a repair skills you need to open the TV and make sure all the ribon connectors around the circuit boards are proper connected and if all seems to be ok, the DG board will need to be replaced.
If you dont have any repair skills I would recommend you to take you TV to a repair shop since this is complex repair
This sounds like one of the driver boards at the bottom or top of the screen has an intermittent fault. The set will have to be taken in to a service centre.
