When the phone gets warm from being in my pocket, it starts to make calls and text on its own.

Not a good thing to happen, you can try taking battery and covers off and leaving the phone in a warm dry place for a few days and hope that all the internal componts will dry and that they have not been damaged. Otherwise you will have to replace the phone.

in prbably doesnt have signal in you pocket.have you tried another pockets.I think you have something metalic in you pocket near the phone so it obscurates the signal

Most cell phones do not have that option.

However, there is a FREE app for Windows Mobile users that own a Pocket PC, Smartphone or MotoQ. The program works well. (I use it myself) It's called, CallFirewall. (It works best in a Pocket PC cell phone running Windows Mobile 6 or better.) (ie.: Sprint HTC Touch Pro, for example).

If you need a Pocket PC phone with Windows Mobile to use this app, contact your cellular provider for available phones.

CallFirewall basically rejects any or all unwanted calls.

Features & Options:

a. Accecpt all calls, or
b. Accept call from My Contacts only - accepts calls from contacts only, others are rejected
c. Reject all calls, or
d. White List - accepts calls only from the white listed nos
e. Black List - accepts all call except from the black listed nos
f. Black List Pattern - any no STARTING from the black list pattern list is rejected.
for eg. if you enter "123", so all nos STARTING from "123" will be rejected
this is a very nice option with which you can block nos from any particular network, country, city , area or whatever you can think of.

Finally there is also an option to reply with an SMS. (Text Messaging)

Hey i just had the same thing happen to me this weekend. i had my phone in my pocket and i was outside for a couple hours in zero degree weather. I got a text message and clicked open and my phone shut off and turned on w/ a blue screen saying it needed to be rebuilt or something like that then it shut off and kept doing the same thing that yours is doing. Did you figure anything out?

Try removing the battery for two minutes. Then reinstall the battery and put your phone charger on it til the battery is fully charged.

you can transfer your text messages to your PC by installing a software on your PC called Jeyo Mobile Companion. download this software, install it and then connect your phone with the PC. once synchronized, you will be able to transfer all your text messages to your PC as a "Notepad" document! i hope this works for yah.. for your other question, go to start then settings, then "sounds and notifications", then go to the "notifications" tab, then in the "event" pull down menu select "messaging:new text message" and then check the "play sound" check box and then select any sound you would like. simple isn't it? ;)

This is an issue that you've got to discuss with your carrier. I've got occasional probs on the same phone. Find out if there is a software update. It may fix it. Also, if you are in an outlying area, these messages are often delayed. I wish I could get mine to do better too. Also, if you are carrying your phone in a pocket, you may get worse reception than when it is in a carrier bag, holster or the like.
