I can get channels 1 to 4 can't get channel 5 and no freeview

I can get channels 1 to 4 can't get channel 5 and have lost my freeview channels

Hi, I had the same problem, try removing your aerial from the box - retuning and saving so it blanks out all previous channels and then reattaching the aerial and doing another retune, this worked for me. Good luck.....

How to retune freeview tv

You need to do a Full Factory Reset tuning rather than just a rescan.

Rescan simply looks at the place holders where the old channels were stored and refreshes them. A Factory Reset (A.K.A. Shipping Condition) wipes the channel memories and starts again fresh.

We have lost a good number of channels since retuning. These include ITV,Channel 4, Five, Virgin 1, Five US, Fiver

You have to retuen your receiver or TV to pick up the reallocated channels.

You may lose some channels when you retune the TV as the channels have been rearranged. To locate them look at the EPG although you may still find that some channels are no longer available on FREEVIEW. See the following link for additional information

Buy a digital antena or have roof antena,get better receptions and stable Hz.Rescan when get better signal should get it back an it stable's.

Dmr-es10 dvd recorder - cant get the machine to record digital channels form tv

Channels 1-5 are I believe for Analogue reception. To record from my digital Freeview box, I'm plugged into SCART port 2 (bottom most port on right hand side of machine as you look at it from the front). Use your remote to change the channel to A2 with the <CH> rocker button just above the video+ button on the controller. This will then record whatever channel your freeview box is set to - the only pain is you can't watch a separate channel whilste recording.
