I am searching for a Avanti Wine Refrigerator Compressor Relay. The refrigerator is Model # WC400YGB holds either 24 or 30 bottles. The compressor is fine, the light turns on inside the unit but the cooling portion does not work. Had a gentleman come out and look at it, he says I need this relay part but I am having difficulty locating one.

The cost of one of those compressors is over $100. When you factor in tax and labor you're better off junking it. Its also possible you have a compressorless cooler called Peltier.

replace the rtc overload contactor located on the compressors body the relay is weak and not holding anymore,remove the spring wire that holds the overload and capacitor unplug the overload from the compressor and reverse procedure to install

did the compressor get very hot and can u hear a humming-if not i would more look at a thermostat fault

personaly i would fit a universal one

relay may be bad to compressor.does it run for few seconds and click off?

pull it out and lay hands on the compressor and see if its running if not replace the thermostat
