First in the driver under advanced settings... make the driver spool the print jobs...

and if that doesn't work try pcl or kpdl drivers...

Kyocera slow printing

First you have to determine if the problem is mechanical of electrical. Are the letter bunching up. If so the print shaft may need oil. Is the data from the computer being held up some way. Bad interface maybe? Are you using the proper print driver. The wrong or damaged driver can cause print problems of various types. Check for computer viruses you would be shocked at what a virus can do to your printing. Start with those suggestions. Then come back.

My dell inspiron mini 10 notebook using window 7 pro..why it always hang when i opened many application..

The Dell mini computer runs on a Intel Atom processor and has just 1GB of RAM on it.. So the computer is designed only for internet surfing and launching small applications.. Thats the reason it is called as a netbook.. It comes with win starter edition... It is not highly recommended running a win 7 pro on this machine.. It can be really slow on this Operating system... Thats the reason your computer is slow.. Try to run inbuilt cleaning like disk clean up to see if there is any iimprovements in speed.. Else switch the Operating system to win XP or Win 7 Starter

Hawking HWU8DD Vista Driver crashing Win 7. I just purchased new desktop running Win 7. Old system ran on XP. XP Driver would not work. Installed XP driver. System runs for ~10 minutes and crashes...

there will be no win 7 driver as win 7 is no longer supported by Microsoft
to get a driver , you have to go to the manufacturers web site , find a down load for that model that is compatible for win 7 operating system
win xp is also not supported by Microsoft so there will be driver problems there as well

Old program won't run on new computer win XP but runs on others

> ran slow

Probably, having more RAM would make VMWARE run faster.

> except Sound Laundry 2.5

Check the manufacturer's web-site -- surely, they have a version which *DOES* work as a "native" application under Windows XP and Windows VIsta and Windows 7, i.e., no need for "compatibility settings".

What are the basic applications that runs on Windows XP O/S?

well every application and software is built on on a platform that is compatiable with some certain operating system . u should have encounter some applications that run well in xp and vitsa but are not compatiable with win 9X and others . win xp also introduce a option of compatibility for applications . just right click a .exe file and go to properties there u will find some options . suppose if u have some application or software which were runing fine in win 9x and 2000 but seem not to work in win xp u can set option from compatibility than how the system should run the application and in what platform . if u choose win9x/2000 option the o/s will trick the software that actually its runing on win98/2000 . but it works in some cases . i hope u understand thankx and take care of urself

I have a hard drive with windows 95 and i am trying to install windows xp professional addition but it comes back saying you can't intall this version of windows on this system

Windows 95 uses the FAT 32 system and uses a boot-up partition that will not recognize a windows xp default system install that uses the NTFS system. You can do it the other way around though, if XP is installed first, or another drive you have with XP on it is the first drive set to boot in your BIOS XP will recognize WIN 95 on its FAT 32 partition and either let you boot from that partition when you first start up your computer or when in XP right clicking a WIN 95 application and setting its properties to run as a Win 95 environment. Solution I would use if I were you would be to download Microsoft's free Virtual PC application from their website and run a full version of WIN 95 in its own virtual environment. Win 95 will run about 10 times faster than it ever would on its own partion if run under XP.

Win Vista and Win XP Probs?

which applications are not compatible? Do you try to run them in compatibility mode set at windows XP?
You may install VMWare Server to run a virtual machine XP from Vista without dual boot, allowing running XP and Vista at the same time, its easy to install/configure, need a good computer with 2Gb ram min.
