Hx2750 Touch screen

Hello,

As some people reported here my touch screen stopped responding.
I've tried reset and hard reset and can't go further because of alignment step.
The buttons are working ok so i'm afraid that the touch screen is down.
I've dismantled the pda to see if all the connectors were ok, and haven't noticed anything wrong.
I'm still hoping for a software solution because changing the touch screen would cost too much and would be delicate.

Thank you,

Nataly®

I've tried the Pre Boot and Boot Loader and both make the ipaq starting on the bue and white screen with the gauge empty and not filling, and the message WLAN MISMATCH.
It stays on this screen and nothing more happens.

Thank you for answering Ekse :0)
Anyway, i've ordered a new LCD screen as i've found one not too expansive.

The Boot Loader make the pda starts with the hp blue and white screen with the thin gauge which stays empty and there is a message under : wlan mismatch.
Nothing else happens after that, the pda is locked so i have to do a reset.
(i hope i'm clear, sorry for my english)

Pre Boot Loader does the same.

I realised that i posted in the wrong section i hope you've seen in my title that my pda is a hx2750., sorry for the mistake.

Designer 1 touch screen is frozen, and I cannot calibrate because reverse button is also stopped working.

When the Designer 1 touch screen is frozen and unresponsive, preventing you from calibrating or using the reverse button, it can be frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Restart the Machine:
- Turn off the Designer 1 embroidery machine and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. This can sometimes reset the system and resolve minor software glitches.
2. Check for Physical Obstructions:
- Ensure that there are no physical obstructions on the touch screen that may be causing it to be unresponsive. Clean the screen gently with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
3. Perform a Hard Reset:
Performing a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine can help resolve software-related issues and reset the system to its default settings. Here is a general guide on how to perform a hard reset on the Designer 1 embroidery machine:
A. Turn off the Machine:
- Ensure that the Designer 1 embroidery machine is turned off and disconnected from the power source.
B. Locate the Reset Button:
- On some embroidery machines, including the Designer 1, there may be a small reset button located on the machine.
- The reset button is typically a small, recessed button that may require a pin or a paperclip to press.
C. Press the Reset Button:
- Using a small pointed object like a pin or a paperclip, press and hold the reset button on the embroidery machine.
- Hold the reset button for a few seconds (typically 10-15 seconds) to initiate the hard reset process.
D. Release the Reset Button:
- After holding the reset button for the specified time, release the button.
E. Power On the Machine:
- Plug the Designer 1 embroidery machine back into the power source and turn it on.
- The machine should restart, and the hard reset process should be complete.
F. Check Functionality:
- Once the machine has restarted, check if the touch screen and other functions are responsive and working properly.
- Test the touch screen, buttons, and other features to ensure that the hard reset has resolved the issue.
(Please note that the exact steps for performing a hard reset may vary depending on the specific model and design of the Designer 1 embroidery machine. It is recommended to refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for specific instructions on performing a hard reset for your particular machine model.)
If the hard reset does not resolve the issue with the frozen touch screen and unresponsive buttons on your Designer 1 embroidery machine, contact customer support or seek assistance from an authorized service center for further troubleshooting and repair.
4. Contact Customer Support:
- If the touch screen remains frozen and unresponsive despite trying the above steps, it is recommended to contact the customer support service for the Designer 1 embroidery machine.
- The customer support team can provide further guidance on troubleshooting the touch screen issue and may suggest additional steps to resolve the problem.
5. Professional Repair:
- If the touch screen continues to be unresponsive and the machine is still under warranty, consider taking it to an authorized service center for repair.
- Professional technicians can diagnose the issue and perform repairs if necessary to restore the functionality of the touch screen.
It's essential to handle electronic devices like embroidery machines with care when troubleshooting issues to prevent any further damage. If you are unsure about performing any of the steps mentioned above, it's best to seek assistance from the manufacturer or a professional technician to avoid causing additional problems.

Hello,

Aparently the problem is the touch panel, that is attached on the top of the LCD.
It can be solved replacing this part.

Hello, I have a Samsung SGH A877 cellphone and for some reason the touch screen has stopped responding. Is there anything I can do to get the touch screen back to normal or should I order a new phone?

First try to take the battery out. When you put it back in it resets it. If that doesn't work do you have a warranty? My Blackberry went out and Verizon replaced it for free just as long as the glass is not cracked. Let me know what happens and I will try to help you out further.

Garmin 360

Have you tried performing a soft reset by pressing the reset button on the back of the unit, then turning it on again?

How about a hard reset?

With the unit powered off, hold your finger on the upper right- hand corner of the touch screen and tap the power key. Continue to hold your finger on the screen until you get a warning message. Tap "OK" to reboot the GPS.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance to you.

Good luck!
