I use ml 2010 under ubuntu. I canceled all tasks. Now I give a new task but it is still printing the old task. Not the hole old task but one by one.

go to printers and devices
click on the printer and see the what's printing or printer tasks
highlight the task and stop/ cancel or delete

go control panel ,click on-devices and printers , right click on default printer
that will show the list of tasks for the printer
highlight the non required tasks and end task
or highlight each line at a time and end task the lot

What you can do is unplug the printer from the power outlet and let it sit whilst deleting the jobs from the print queue on the PC.

On a windows machine you want to got to START, Control panel, Under printers, open up the printer and click on each task and delete or cancel, then reboot the computer.

Which Task are you talking about? scanning printing or copying? If you have changed the print cartridge and have not realined it it will give you this problem, so please provide more information so I can help you. Or you can go to www.hp.com and get free help.

when giving print command there will be one icon in the right hand side of the task bar in the desktop (where you can see the clock). double click it then in the box select the printing job there you can see cancel option.click on it.

have you tried replace a new toner. If new toner also giving out noise. it is most likely the main drive issue.

start task mngr ( CNTRL+ALT+DEL) then find it under applications or processes and end the task-then remove it under control panel>add-remove programs

Strange problem, but try this:

1. Open Task Manager
2. File > New Task (Run...)
3. type "control printers"

Your printer has a [Cancel] button that should work with most jobs. However, for big print jobs, you need to go to the small printer icon in the bottom right corner of your Windows screen. Double click on it and the pending jobs will be listed. You can select and delete them from there.
