If your connecting the likes of a DVD player, Virgin, Sky etc to your Tv via a scart. Then these should turn your tv onto the required Av channel automatically as a scart send power to the Tv.

Just make sure that you have everything connected up first of all before you turn the power on. Then what I would suggest you do is turn the TV on first then turn the DVD, Cable, Sky on after the tv is already on this should then change to the AV your appliance is connected to.

Left the remote at a friends
Basically you can do one of two things go through the channels i would start on channel 3 and go down if you can get to the AV input it will be only a few channels away. of you can not access them that way your best bet is to go buy a cheapo universal remote that has an input button on it... one last thing you COULD try is to access the tv menu if there is a menu button on the front and see if you could access the AV input that way. good luck
