Ws65909 powers off about 3 sec after power on

I followed the instructions to get the diag code and the blinking lights said 1-2.

We've had the convergence ICs replaced about a year ago. The set was working fine last night, and this morning it was failing.

OK.. I just tried to power it on and then did the diag again and now it blinks 2-2.

A code will always read 12-normal if you just plugged the tv in. it has to try to turn on then shut itself down to log a code. Or shutdown is caused by something the tv cannot detect . Or a front panel button has failed- does the green light turn on for a second when you hit the power button on the remote? if not try unplugging the front keypad behind the speaker cover.

22 low voltage short protect .. its gonna be convergence again. that model has 1 convergence i.c STK393-110 and 2 picofuses rated 5A near the power supply that will need to be replaced plus if any 3.9 ohm resistors near the conv. i.c. looked burned they should be replaced too. make sure its an amp from mitsubishi that is used in the repair . generic amps can be gotten for much cheaper but there is a good reason that they are cheaper. also it is important to use enough heatsink compound but just as important to apply enough pressure to the amp to make the aluminum back of the amp touch the aluminum heatsink as possible.

ABS light comes on... but no noticble degradation in operation etc.

Most likely a wheel speed sensor, hopefully... The only thing that will change when the ABS light is on is that the ABS will not function as long as the indicator is on. I hope this info helps.

When the airbag system is in functioning condition, the airbag warning light will remain on for about 7 seconds and go out when the ignition switch is set to ON .

If there is any malfunction, the airbag warning light will either stay on or off continuously. In such cases, perform on-board diagnostic in accordance with the specified procedure to determine trouble codes.

  1. Turn ignition switch ON (with engine OFF ).
85091723

  1. Connect DIAG. terminal to No.2 terminal of diagnosis connector located inside lower cover.
  2. Check in accordance with the trouble code indicated by the AIRBAG warning light, and record the trouble codes.
  3. Turn the ignition switch "OFF " and remove the DIAG. terminal from No.2 terminal of diagnosis connector.
85091724

HOW TO READ TROUBLE CODES
The ABS lamp flashes a code corresponding to the faulty parts.

The long segment (1.2 secs on) indicates a "ten", and the short segment (0.3 secs on) indicates a "one".

NOTE: This is the only information provided by the manufacturer for clearing diagnostic trouble codes.

97511505

CLEAR MEMORY
After eliminating problem as per trouble code, clear memory as follows:

Make sure ignition switch is ON (and engine off). Connect one DIAG. terminal (1) on diagnosis connector (2) terminal No.1.

where warning light is flashing, connect the other DIAG. terminal (3) on terminal No. 2 for at least three seconds . After memory is cleared, normal warning light flashing rate resumes. (Warning light flashes every 0.6 seconds (ON-OFF operation.) Memory cannot be cleared if any problem exists.

After clear memory and then DIAG. terminals (1) and (3), extract from diagnosis connector (2)

I have a ws65909, my power button as well goes on and goes of quickly. I held the reset for 10 seconds, blinks for a while, goes off. I press the power button and it occurred again. Is this the same...

When power light comes on and then when you turn set on and it goes out: ON FRONT OF SET PRESS AND HOLD BOTH THE MENU AND INPUT (DEVICE) BUTTONS AT SAME TIME FOR AT LEAST 5 SECONDS.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and then repeat it several times.

Let me know what error code you find and I will tell you what it means.

If this told you something you did not know, rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

I need the codes to program my Innovage Jumbo Universal Remote for Dynex television

As there are no specific codes for the Dynex TV you have the choice of either using the Auto or Learn method. The following are instructions for both:

AUTO Method

1. Press & Hold (about 3 sec.) the [DEVICE] button on the JUMBO Remote....llight will stay solid.
2. Now just press the [POWER] button (only) ONCE while pointing at the device...it will start sending codes approximately every second. (Don't keep pressing the power button as instructions indicate.)
3. TIMING IS EVERYTHING HERE. (It may take 5 minutes to find your devices code.)
4. AS SOON AS the power goes off...press the [ENTER] button on the JUNBO Remote.
5. Now pressing the [POWER] button should power up/down the device.

---- any buttons not programmed will have to be handled using the LEARN method ---

LEARN Method

1. Press & Hold (about 3 sec.) the [DEVICE] button on the JUMBO Remote....it'll stay solid.
2. Press the [LEARN] button on the JUMBO Remote. (light will immediately blink rapidly.)
3. Now Press the {NEEDED} button to program. (light will stay solid)
4. Now (1 to 2 inches away) have the ORIGINAL Remote pointed at the JUMBO Remote and press the {DESIRED} button on the ORIGINAL Remote.
5. It blinks rapidly while sending...then a slower steady blink once "LEARNED" correctly.

*** Not all buttons work properly with the "LEARN method". Some you will need to "associate" with an alternate button on the JUMBO Remote. *

On the front of the set press and hold both the MENU and INPUT(OR DEVICE) BOTH FOR 5 SECONDS AND THEN RELEASE BOTH BUTTONS.

Power light should blink a two digit code--error code---for example: 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks.
