Chances are, the batteries in the mouse are weak. If putting in new batteries does not fix the problem, there may be another device nearby that's causing interference.
Hi,
With the wireless mouse you also have a wireless adapter that is connected via usb to your computer. Insert the usb adapter in an available usb port on your computer. Wait for a few seconds until windows verfies and installs the new device. Then press the sync button located under the wireless adapter and at the same time press the sync button under your mouse.
The mouse will be ready to use.
Your wireless mouse the battery might be low, change the battery and go to control panel and click the mouse icon, and adjust the right mouse speed setting.
reinstall the driver for the mouse and see if that fixes it.... also you can try going to control panel----mouse and the changing the settings... you may have to experiment abit to get it the way you want it.

I respectfully disagree with amusedgeek. He is correct aout the textured surface, though.Optical mice will take snapshots many times a second and reposition the cursor according to where the pattern was last. Rather than a single color, a pattern is your best bet for an optical mouse. The only thing I recommend is to make sure the mousepad isn't reflective at all- no glossy or semi-glossy surface. You want it to be non-reflective. Just to be sure there is nothing wrong with the mouse, you can test it simply by putting it on a newspaper and scrolling around.

Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
