Canon printer wont start after power outage

Confirm that the printer is still plugged into a working power outlet
try plugging this printer into a known verifiable working power outlet and then try powering it on
if it still doesn't power on I hate to say this but it would cost you more to get it repaired then for you to purchase new the current replacement model for the mx882 is the mx922(Amazon @ $99.00)

After a power outage, my ESP5250 would not power up. The unit is plugged into a power strip, the other equipment on the power strip works, but the printer does not work. HELP, no power, no print. just...

You sure it was an outage and not a surge? Check for damaged or blown components inside the printer. Make sure all power conections are snug. Try a different power strip. If all else fails, contact EPSON (or whoever the hell makes this thing)

Won't come on after power outage

Hi,
Sometimes you have to unplug the monitor from the power supply and wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back in, and make sure you don't need to press the reset button on the power strip.

No power

I have two of these where I work and have seen this problem occur after power outages. I've been able to resolve it by unplugging the power and usb cable and letting it sit for 10-15 minutes . Plug everything back up and it works again (until the next power outage)

Printer hangs on Power up - displays XEROX in LCD Window

Do any of the fans operate ? Is there any aperance of the power switching on?
Look in the back of the printer and see if you notice any leds on in the machine.
If there is no presence of any power, the electronics module has most likely failed.
