Miele gas cooktop flame shuts off after lighting. If I keep the button down longer to allow more gas to flow to the burner it will stay on.

I had similar problem.Solved by Miele tech by placing rice grain sized wad of paper towel inside knob so it sits slightly higher on the valve shaft.

Miele HR1124 cooktop - turning one burner on keeps igniter clicking for all 4 burners.
It is a gas appliance and it is a Miele, so you need a registered gas technician to service it. In my experience, the spark igniters work on all burners. To clean the burners, remove them all and put them in a large saucepan. Add cold water and dish liquid, bring slowly to a simmer and turn off. When cold, rinse and scrub with a plastic pot brush, paying particular attention to holes and slots. This was a job we did in the restaurant every week. It is a good plan to do before you go to bed for the least disruption.

So perhaps my hack won't work if they aren't removable.

Hi! I have a miele induction schott ceran cooktop. When I turn it on , it just flashes two Fs on left buttons and two Es on the right button and then shuts off.

You could have a clog in your gas line. Have the gas company come out to check the pressure.

you can only purchase Miele parts from Miele and no one else other than authorized Miele service agents and it is the same price. you would also have to call them as parts are not on line

Electric ignitors clicking
I'm sorry that I don't have a solution for you, but my Miele gas stove does the same thing. I had a repairman come out while it was under warrantee and they fixed it, but it was only temporary. It's doing it again, but, of course, it's no longer under warantee and will be very expensive to have Miele come out again. I've found that it's the right front burner that causes the clicking, so I've just stopped using it.

Miele KM 3474 stove top lights but turns off after 30 seconds
Does the burner attempt to re-ignite after it goes out? If so, it's probably the therocouple. If not, it could be the burner valve. Be sure the caps and rings are correctly seated on the burners and be sure to firmly press the burner knob down to start the flame.

I have a Miele gas hob model number KM371 which is only 1 year old. The plastic knobs are breaking and Miele have quoted me A$47.35 each to replace them with metal ones. I have just made my second phone call to Miele for replacements, first set were not sent. Their repsonse to me was it was my fault they were breaking. After the amount of money I spent on Miele I find it very disappointing that the knobs are cheap plastic anyway. Does anyone else have this problem?
