Missing print There is a line of missing toner running down the side off anything that I print. THe line runs from top to bottom and is about one and one half inches from the edge? Is some thing stuck there?

It sounds like there may be a speck of dust or similar on the laser slit glass. Pull out your OPC cartridge (the big green belt, be careful not to touch or damage it, and keep it out of the light as much as possible-lean it against the wall in a cupboard or under your desk), and pull out all 4 toner cartridges. Get a clean cloth and carefully wipe out any toner spills or other dust at the bottom of the area the OPC sits in. Maybe even blow gently through a straw to get toner out of tight corners. Make sure the narrow strip of glass that goes across the printer base under the OPC area is clean. Refit all parts and try again.

Missing print

machine needs drum and developer, but a temporary fix would be...open front door near notice green handle where toner is replaced, look to the right of green handle and down about 2 or 3 inches, you should see a plastic or chrome cover the size of a postage stamp, remove the cover and you should see a 3/4 inch wide piece of glass barely sticking out, carefully grasp the glass and pull it out of machine, wipe the toner off the glass , put glass back in and replace cover , shut front cover and run copies .

HP4+ print quality was perfect, but printer was jamming, so I replaced all the roller parts in the Maintenance Kit, which corrected all jamming! All the paper rollers and the transfer roller is now...

Run the 1/2 test.
Load paper in the manual feed tray.
Print anything that requires more than 2 sheets.
As the paper enters the printer open the top cover.
Remove the toner cartridge.
Look down at the paper.
If it looks like the problems you described, change the toner.
If it looks good, reinstall the old transfer roller and rerun the test.
If transfer roller doesn't fix it, you have a bad fuser. Put the old one in and repeat.

2 Missing ink black streaks

Check the dev unit for missing lines. Also clean the laser glass with the supplied cleaner pad - though if the problem were caused by toner on the lens, there would be gaps in ALL colours.

Check the dev units first. You can also do a stop test whilst a full colour test image is half way through printing and see if the lines are missing off the image on the PCU as well.
