It won't turn, the little red light turns on , but thats all. this happened twice. the tv repair man said the same switch keeps burning out. why I ask him and he says, I don't know. It's a good tv, but i don't want to have to pay for repairs all the time. I have it in storage (4 years) and i'm ready to get rid of some stuff, but the tv i would like to fix.

leave the tv disconnected for a while because if you keep messing with it like my kids did and it will cause the bulb inside to burn out and will not even be worth fixing
there is a white resistor 0.1 ohn check open next to it are 2 transistor would check short also u need to check horizontal output transistor is also short
