ever since I dropped my DCR-DVD105, I have been getting an error messsage C:13:02. I have tried 3-4 different discs and same message. Help!

Me too! It will record and save things, but as soon as you try to do anything it comes up with this error!

please help me, i have de same problem, error C13:02, is important, memories of family lost!!!

  • bigdukeydog Mar 03, 2009

Out of nowhere my camcorder started randomly deleting videos and displaying the 13:02 error. I insert a new disk and it eventually happens again erasing more precious memories. The only thing I have found that has minimized this is to first record and don't start up the camera and view videos you have already taken.

Why am I getting 'Disc Error" even though Im usiing New Maxwell audio CDR cds?

Could be dirt inside the machine causing the problem, or the wrong type of disc being used.

The game cannot be read on our ps2, but the ps2 works for other games. the disk looks fine. what can we try to get this game to play?

Even if the game isn't scratched, you should try holding it under a light to see if there are any fingerprints or smudges on the disc. You can try cleaning the disc with a lint-free cloth if you've got one, though I've never had trouble with a cotton t-shirt. Wipe from the center of the disc straight towards the outer edge. Do this for the entire disc and try it again.

If that doesn't work, please update this issue with the error message you're seeing if any. Does the disc show up in the PS2 browser? Do you get a disc read error? Does the screen just go black when you try to play the game?

"no disc" message but there is disc in camera - huh?!

HI, I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM. I PURCHASED A BOX OF 30 DISCS THAT WERE FORMATED. I FOUND THAT 12 WOULD GET THE "NO DISC" MESSAGE. SO I WENT AND FORMATED THEM MYSELF ON MY COMPUTER, AND NOW ONLY 2 ARE NOT WORKING. I HAVE TWO OF THESE CAMARAS AND FOUND THAT ON BOTH THE "NO DISC" MESSAGE WOULD COME UP, SO FOR ME I KNOW BOTH OF MY CAMARAS ARE ALRIGHT, THAT IT IS SOMETHING WITH THE DISC.

Error message can't record on disc

Hi,
I would try to burn at a lower speed. If this doesn't work. Try to burn the cd but don't finalize it. If this goes through fine then try to finalize the cd.

"no disc" error message

Did this problem just start? It may be due to the lens no longer reading the disc. Try a lens cleaner. If your lens went south, it usually is paired with a clicking noise or/and the combination of a no disc/disc error message. I would also recommend staying away from Polaroid dvd players and tv's in the future. They have a habit of not making parts available, especially after the warranty.

Error recording

It is the disc type that your using or the lens of the disc. Although this unit can use x16, dont. Use x8 and make sure it just says x8. I can assure you it will work hands down. I have this unit. It runs strong since jan 06
