My Gaggenau deep fryer V230 keeps blinking 0 and won't power up? How do I fix it?

check to see if there is some kind of breaker on the unit, it should be like a reset button. some kind of safety switch has tripped, you need to find out what and where it is.

You need to replace the Thermostat. (Sometimes it's the solenoid prior to the thermostat that caused the thermostat to burn out, if that is the case, you will need to replace both, or it will just burn our your new thermostat.)

Hello, To download the files you need the E-Nr. (WM204140/01). You can find the number on the label inside the appliance or on the appliance door. I went on the gaggenau site and even with entering a couple key numbers as we have done before it is not recongizeing the VF 112 and asks for more information about the model number. I will need the complete model number. Also I am assuming even though you have this posted for the VF 230 that you are looking for the VF112 from you statement. I will post this response as well as a couple more informative things about Gaggenau as well. I await your reply.

Hi there.
Check the sensing bulb of the hi limit device, it may be touching the heating element that's why it trips prematurely especially when you put load on fryer. If this does not correct the problem, your hi limit device may need replacement.
