There is a bad thermistor in the fuser most likely.
You can try pressing Clear all then 107 and hold the stop button down.
That should put you into the SC area. Press copy sc then turn the machine off and on to see if it clears the fault.
Otherwise replace the thermistor.

Hi just read your posting.Unfortunately in my manual it says that error 104 is Comms. Error Time-out.This means that there is an error in the communications between the Display module and the Motor controller. Now to rectify this fault the manual says to 1st change the Display module, and if this doesn't rectify the fault change the Motor controller. And lastly if you have changed both these parts and it still faults the manual then says change the Rotor Position Sensor.There is no way to check which part is actually causing the fault and the recommended way to rectify this fault is to change parts until it works correctly.I am sorry for the bad news but on this fault you might have to obtain the service of a technician.Unless there is a place you could send the motor controller and display board and get them checked out for faults.I am in Australia and there are a few places here that do this service but maybe you could ring your local Fisher and Paykel agent and see if they know of anybody that could help you in your area.Please reply for further help and to tell us how you got on.

Hi just read your posting.Does your machine drain the water .When your machine stopped doing the spin cycle did it start to beep and show a series of lights as an error code?Or have you got the model with the LCD display and it showed an error code in letters?If you have the model with lights and your machine beeped the lights that did come on will be in a row of 8.Starting from left to right is it the 2nd and 5th lights on or the 4th and 8th lights---etc---- that are lit? Please reply and I can help you rectify this fault for you.

Main motor/ transport motor lock/ fusting motor error.

The only thing you can do is check for any obstructions in the machine.

That needs to be looked at by a service because the problem could be a motor, a pcb, or a power supply.

It can be a lot of troubleshooting to do.
