Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. You'll need component cables and HDMI cables (for connecting cable box and TV). You can also use HDMI cables for connecting DVR with TV. Please see this schematic for DVR, VCR, Cable Box, TV and Home Theater System connections---

Ok I would need to know what kind of televison you have to best assist you. But for starters your Koss has the ability to have two video devices connected to it thru composite connections and has one s-video and one component(HD) output for the television. I would connect the vcr to one of the composite connections on the Koss. Then when you want to watch the vcr the audio and video would come thru the Koss reciever to your telivison by selecting that input on the Koss reciever. As far as the cable box is that standard connection? s-video or composite? Or is it HD like component or HDMI? If it is HD then leave it connected to the TV and if the TV has an audio output connect that to the Koss on one of the inputs. That way whatever audio is on the TV will also play on the Koss. Same question for the DVR is it standard or HD? If HD I would also leave it connected to the TV. If it is different let me know what you have so I can assist you further.

The TV you have is not HD and a older TV so I would leave them connected the way you are using them to the television and use the audio out rca jacks on the back of the TV and connect those to the input on the Koss. Then when you select that input on the Koss you will get sound from the television on the Koss. It does not look like your TV has any s-video inputs and this would be the most simple way to connect. Now if you want the surround sound signal then the dvr, cable box,or vcr would need to be connected directly to the reciever inputs and there are only two on the Koss and you have three devices. you other option is to buy a audio switcher that has three audio inputs and one audio output. With this device you will be select the different audio outputs depending on what you are watching using the one Koss input. Now the Koss video output for the DVD player you will need to buy and cable that has s-video connector on one end and rca jack on the other so you can connect it to the video connection on the tv(the audio will come from the Koss) because it appears that your tv does not have a s-video input. They also make adapters that will do this and you might be able to find one at radio shack or online here is a link to one.

How do you attach an x-box to the yamaha natural sound home theater system dvr s200??

Hi,

You need to use an optical cable to connect your xbox to your home theater system.
This can be done 2 ways

1) You can connect the optical cable directly from the xbox to the home theater system.

2) You can also connect your xbox to your TV by HDMI and then connect your TV by optical cable to your home theater system.

This has the added benefit of all the devices that use your TV being able to use the home theater system in the same way the xbox is using it.

Koss Ks4102 video problem

You have chosen the progressive scan option. In this option you will not get a composite video out to your TV using a single cable. you need to switch off this option by connecting the DVD player using three single cables namely Rr, Yy, Bb. this is possible only if you have this input option on your Tv. once you do this you will be able to see the display correctly and do the changes of switching off the progressive option. refer to the manual it is explained

Problem with surround working with just the t.v. on

What type of plug from the TV are you hooking up to the sound system? Its has to be a HDMI or a scart. If its not and your using the rca red and white. The reciver has to be on the synth surrond setting or look in the owners manual, it will tell you what setting the reciver has to be on when using a non surround set or hookup
