You cannot Unlock Nokia 6500 Slide phones piurely through having the IMEI Number. It also requires Hardware to Unlock it. 
You would need to take it to a Small High Street Shop that specialized in Unlocking Moble Phones. I would not take it to a Service Provider as they would charge the earth to do it.
