there is a part that controls brightnes n contrast on tvs, thats the one that has to be replaced by an expert. When done make sure u use standard surge guards to avoid such damage. Its a simple job.
Your projection tubes are messed up. It's a very expensive fix, just get a working TV off craigslist with a smashed screen and reuse your screen itself (usually 100-200$) or just toss the TV and upgrade to an LCD
The TV was working fine, some time during the night the power went out, its plugged into a surge protector, everything else works fine, the TV won't turn on, the fuse is fine, is there a reset switch?
sounds like your input board went out. I had the same problem on the ILO version of this panel. Got a replacement part off of Ebay. Search for Ilo plasma on ebay and it will come up

I have a Sony Trinitron KV-32TS46 and it has sound but no picture and when it had picture it was fuzzy, not a clear and sharp image
