Re: i forgot my administrator password for my mac g3
If you are running OS X put the appropriate system disk in the disk
drive. Boot up using the c key. Once booted go up to the file menu and
go to the reset password menu and reset your password.

You want to ensure that you are using the proper type of encryption on your wireless network. If the wifi is using WEP, WPA, etc. you want to select this prior to entering your password.
If you are unsure of what type of encryption that you are using, check with your system administrator.
Follow these steps to reset a password when there is only one
administrator account on the computer, or if the original administrator
account needs a password reset. Reset MAC original administrator account password
This is one of my best recommended websites providing webcam products best compatible with PowerPC macs like the iBook G3 as well as Intel processor based Macs.
From the Apple Support Forum for MacBook (yes, 3 generations later than yours.)
"With the original install discs that came with the MacBook, you can reset the administrator's password. Follow the instructions for "Resetting the original administrator account password" in this document:http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274"

I'm sorry that you have an ibook g3 but it's good that you are new to mac, there is still time to change.
However, neither of these are the cause of your problem.
You'll need to give your computer the correct password for the "router" that you are trying to access.
