Hi

Are you trying to send/receive using the Google application for Gmail? If so, I've used it for some time and the only problem I have is if the data connection falls briefly, in which case I just hit the button again and it normally comes back up.

I haven't tried setting up Gmail in the built-in Messaging application but I imagine it should work ok *if* Google has enabled your account for IMAP -- they haven't done this for everyone yet.

I'm not getting pictures in my messages, why?

Generally this happens when your mobile data is switched off and only raw SMS texts are going through. Check that you are connected to a local Wifi or mobile data if you have a data plan. This may depend on the phone app and OS you are using. Here are some forum responses to a similar issue:

Hi,

To get the MMS setting please call your service provider.
They will send you the MMS setting. After you receive please save the settings to your
phone.

I cant send data via bluetoorh to other phone... or receive data from other phone throught via bluetooth... cant detect other device after searching for other phone throught via bluetooth. Im using P990i...

When you are receiving the file, check whether you have checked the Visible to other option. And it will ask for the confirmation when you will be receiving the file from other phone whether to accept or not. While sending the phone to which you are sending data should accept the file you are sending.

Let me know if you have any comments.

Don't know what phone you have. Eitherway you need a GPRS or 3G connection. You need to contact your service provider for settings, its almost usually sent to your celphone for free.
