Belkin Wireless Mouse

I have a Belkin wireless mouse and keyboard. The keyboard is working, but the mouse does not want to work. I have changed the batteries and pressed the reset button to no avail. Any suggestions?

I have the same problem - started today, one day after I replaced the batteries for the 1st time. I've tried new batteries again, and the reset button, but with no effect.

Today I tried pressing the reset button on the bottom of the mouse, and at the same time pressed the button on the top of the remote reciever. I'd pressed both in the past, but never at the same time. This seems to have fixed this problem. I hope it's a solution for others also.

SOURCE: Belkin wireless mouse will not right click

You have to open your mouse and check the eletronic board..try to find for any cold solder contact point....resolder it and test it....sometimes changing the contact button solves the problem..

Good Luck!

Mouse only works for a few seconds and then stops.

have you changed the batteries recently? Wireless mice seem to eat batteries faster. I have a Dell wireless mouse. It will work fine for months and then nothing. That's when I know to change out the batteries. If your batteries are fresh, make sure they are seated in their slots securely.

Wireless mouse/ keyboard will not work when 2nd computer is on

There must be interference on the signal from the mouse by the second PC

Make sure that there are no power cables close to the mouse or receiver, I have seen this cause problems many times.

You could also try changing the channel in the router settings in case this is causing the problem, it may be on the same channel as the mouse but only interferring when the second PC is turned on, ta, HPC
