I lost the driver cd for my daughters easy link launch pad and I need to reinstall program so she can use her launch pad

I think the remote control is part of HP's Quick Launch product and the driver can be found under Mouse/Touchpad and Input Devices. Look for the Quick Launch or Quick Play which controls the Media devices such as the DvD/CD, etc.

In the excerpt below they reference the remote as the external easy access keyboard (I think). I got this off my daughter's HP which has a remote.

try to download the driver for your webcam at the manufacturer's website. for the computer virus, pls download this free antivirus program >>> http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html after download, install it and run it on your infected pc.

This is kinda a workaround and it will allow your kid to access anything in the new site but it will work (also will allow you to change any of the fobs to whatever you want)

Find the URL.xml file and make a backup copy of it

Edit the url.xml file in notepad and update the FobID of 1(make sure you made a backup copy)

Save the file and load up the software. This has worked for me, and I have updated the dragontales to use pbskids.org as the root and now my son can access everything on PBSKids, without having to buy the other fobs. (even though we did buy a few others)
