How do i cunnect my pocket PC imate jasjar with my PC..?

Hi,

This is Sachin from Mumbai,India.

i am using i-mate jasjar..

Where do i get software for connecting my i-mate with my Personal Computer... I lost my data cable & software of my i-mate..
but i have data cable of Motorola which allows me to connect my PC but not able to configure i-mate with PC..
Pls Guide me... for software... earlier i was using Active sync for connection...

    Hi,

    Thanx for helpful advice.. but it will not work until.. i get Microsoft ActiveSync for i-mate jasjar.. which will detect my i-mate..
    so.. pls help me were i will get Microsoft ActiveSync for i-mate jasjar..

:idea: Do your have a firewall / Anti-virus running on your pc? This, from experience has caused some connectivity issues in the past. If so, disable, connect your universal, then re-enable your firewall / Anti-virus.

Get Microsoft Active Sync from the Microsoft Website.

GPS ON MY IMATE JASJAR
hi thanks for using fixya!

Most GPS receivers come with all required software and full instructions for installation and use. Just make sure it works with Windows Mobile 5.0 and you should be set. If you happen to choose a GPS receiver that lacks bundled software, my personal preference is Mapopolis, which is free software and maps are sold by county or by region with free trials available before you buy.
