Leaking water from inside the top of the fridge AND the refrigerator freezes my food, makes my drinks nice and crisp(not frozen), however, when the (leaking) water sits in the fridge, it turns to ice.... So here are my ???'s: (As for the leak, I have seen the solution for similar problems... DRAIN TUBE....) ? 1: When pouring warm water in the drain tube, must the fridge be off?;
? 2: ALL contents of the fridge removed?; and ? 3: Will this solve my FROZEN FRIDGE issue or is that just an adjustment of the thermostat control?
Sounds as if the thermostat setting is too high.
Not a good idea to pour warm water into the fridge while its going, but then again.Most drain tubes exit over the compressor into a container sitting atop it. But I've since learned there are now fridges that don't have compressors now? You should also check the door seals, you can do this with a sheet/piece of newspaper
inserted between the door and fridge, go around both doors, you'll soon know if the seals need replacing.
