Rhonda, from what I have read, Medium light to medium pink, clean stones with custom cuts are the most valuable. Gemologist look for stones with out inclusions. A small but growing segment of collectors prefer the unheated peachy color of morganite and are willing to pay a premium to get an unenhanced, natural piece.

5 minutes in an ultrasonic cleaner or 30 seconds under a steam jet may be all it needs. The dullness is usually caused by body oils attracting dust and dirt. If the stone is actually scuffed it can be polished. Most jewelry stores will clean your rings for free (to get you in the store and tempt you with new baubles) and can buff it with jeweler's rouge and a buffing wheel if needed. DIY cleaners and steamers are available and handy to have if you have regular use for one. My wife has both but prefers the steam jet.
