Turntable motor contaminated.
Magnetron failed.
Capacitor failed.
Diode pack failed.
Pick one and investigate bearing in mind there are LETHAL voltages inside the case!!!

Hum is fine but shorting isn't. There appear to be some issues with this model!!

Well an exhaust leak is not usually a hum, more like a rumble.
You should be able to listen under the car while someone is revving up the engine and hear an exhaust leak.
The ticking sound is normal for metal that is very hot and cooling off.
The burning smell could be oil leaking onto the exhaust manifold or pipe.

Ticking sounds like a dry lifter, when was the last time you changed the oil and filter? Humming sounds like you need a tire rotation because of uneven tire wear.

What make & model is it? How hard to get at the fan that's humming? Sounds like capacitor to fan is shot.

Hi there. The final output IC (big and black with 15 pins? attached to heat sink) is shorted and needs to be replaced. If you can still see color bands on R63, it should still be good.

clavinova 83s...comes on but goes off within 20 sec.,sometimes comes on display lights up but no sound or functions?

if your could hear a slight ticking (tick-tick tick) or whining then some electronic component might have been damaged (shorted). if you have no experience repairing electronic equipments then i suggest you to send your TV to a service station!
