Hi , I am happy that you know your IMEI no. Its possible to trace a mobile if you have your lost phones IMEI no. First thing what you got to do is get your sim card disabled by your service provider.You need to go to your Service Provider and give them your cell phones IMEI no. Who ever has your cell phone will swich it on and put his sim in your mobile then your service provider will trace the mobile down.

go to your carriers store ask them track where it is now, they can track the usage then you can deactivate it and shut id down to prevent any personal data from getting lost then you can get help to retrieve the phone

Unfortunately, cell phones can not be pin-pointed to their location. If your cell phone is turned on and has GPS, then maybe. But if your phone does not have GPS, chances of finding it are slim unless some nice person finds it and gives someone on your contacts list a call. The main problem is, if your phone is off, there is really no way to find it. It would be like trying to track down a rock. I am sorry that I could not help very much. Hopefully you can find a new phone on ebay! Maybe claim that it got stolen on your home owner's insurance so they cover a new phone!

it can be traced by your Mobile Service Provider like AT&T or Wt ever but you must pay high ,, that would cost more than your phone,
Because only FBI or Crime Investigator would needed this type of tracking

Contact your service provider (ie.Orange, Vodafone etc), and tell them that you have lost you phone and you have the IMEI no. and you want to track it.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost your phone and sorry to say but you can't track it using the serial or IMEI number, what i would like to suggest is to call your service provider have the line on temporary suspension so that nobody can use your phone and check for insurance and warranty. some providers offer insurance and warranty that covers lost and stolen phone.
