I simply powered it down one weekend by the switch on the side, and on Monday, it seemed to be dead - wouldn't power back on. Tried different outlets and power cords. I can't find documentation on fuses or breakers.
Most likely on this machine the Low voltage power supply is out.
Before ordering parts, check the back of the power supply to make sure the connectors, 110 volt on the back of the plug have not slipped off. Sometimes they are not slipped on the connector very good and come off. Also, make sure the switch is good, sometimes these switches are just mechanically bad inside.
Disconnect the power and disconnect the main motor plugs, power back on the machine and see if the machine at least comes on, even with an error messege on the console. Sometimes a bad main motor will cause the main board to drain power.
Also, make sure before ordering this power supply, the correct part is ordered for this model machine.
Let us know what you find, just becareful with the power plug in the machine when working in the electrical circuits. Unplug the copier when needed.
Couple of things.
First try unplugging it for 30 minutes. Not just unplug and replug. Leave it unplugged for a full half hour.
If it doesnt power up, you need to replace the low voltage power supply.
Let me know.
