Norton Antivirus 2008 with Antispyware

First you should make sure you have the CD Key.

Then, go to:

Norton Removal Tool

Select your product from the list.

Scroll down to the "Download" button and click on it.

When the Download window opens, select "Save" and use the drop down menu to save it to your Desktop.

After the download completes, close the download window. (If it did not automatically.)

Double-click the Norton Removal Tool on the desktop. This will remove any Norton products on your computer.

Once the Norton removal tool completes, reboot your computer and reinstall the program.

Your PC has been effected with spyware.You can try using a spyware software like webroot 2008 to remove this.

Download this file and save it on desktop.

once you have downloaded it you need to Double click on it and run it. It will uninstall all the Norton from your computer and Then you can Install the Norton 2008. this the best way to do it.

Since that program is a fake antispyware program, I'm not surprised it is causing problems.

Antivirus 2008 is an adware program - a form of virus. You should be able to get rid of it using a good antispyware program or something like norton antivirus. If you do not have a program installed I suggest you try using spyware doctor:

That will help remove antivirus 2008. I also suggest you install an antivirus program if you do not already have one. I good free option is AVG antivirus:

Together these programs should help solve your problem and prevent further virus infection.

That blue screen sounds like a trick to me. Many viruses and spywares or the websites that distribute them make beleive that they are causing viruses then provide links to fake antivirus and spyware removal programs that actually make your system worst.

Use the Norton to purchased to do a full deep scan of your system. I also like to supplement my Norton by running the free scan at housecall.trendmicro.com when I suspect there might be a problem on my machine that Norton can't fix.

heres 1 possible solution.
uninstall Norton, and Download AVG free from the internet.
Install AVG get the latest updates, and put Norton to 1 side, to use as a coaster or Beer-mat.
