I have the same problem and the same printer. I;ve tried everything including an internet chat with HP which solve nothing. In OS X it works fine. Howeverr when I turn to Windows 7 in Paralles i can scan documents as long as the USB is attached and only after i restart the printer. I can't use the wireless functions for scanning. There may be a conflict between Windows 7 and OS X running on two different networks.
