Black and White Channel

As you know this is a color TV. All my other channels are perfectly fine with color, but there is just one channel (#57 Comedy Central) that is black and white. Audio is fine just the color is missing. I dont think its a tuner problem since all my other channels are fine and only this one channel is messed up. Its not the cable company's problem since I tried another TV and the channel is perfectly good on that TV.

Yeah the above solution didn't work, I auto programed the whole thing too and still the same thing. I was thinking maybe I can fix it through the service menu but I can't figure out what to change once I am in that menu

Green tint

Go to a channel that is in black and white and turn color all the way off.

Screen should be a black and white or gray color.

If green there is a fairly easy way to adjust--let me know what you find and I will tell you how to attempt the adjustments.

Video 4 channel to color from black and white?

There is no option for changing this, is video 4 a component input? maybe the format is wrong (yellow instead of green)?

Have an RCA console, color, 26" screen. Over 30 years old. Hooked up to cable and DVD player. Overnight the color disappeared and reception is black and white. Did color guns go out?

If you can see white, then all the CRTs are functioning. Make sure that the channel is set correctly. If the DVD is sending out channel 3 and the TV is set to channel 4, you will see the picture, but in B&W, Check that first. Let me know if that does not resolve it.

Thanks,
Dan

Color problem

Please fine tune those B/W channels to obtain color picture. If TV is more then 4 - 5 years old, it needs resoldering in tuning area or might need replacement of IF block.
