The paper only comes out through the left side of the paper path. I didn't find anything jammed on the rigth side when I pushed an envelope through it.This started when I changed the paper in the printer. What is wrong with my printer?

• If printing on an envelope, the edges of the envelope are bent.

Turn off the printer, then unplug it from the power source. Clear the
printer of any paper that may be obstructing the paper path. Remove the rearaccess door. Gently remove the jammed paper from the printer, then replace therear access door.
Remove the rear access door to clear paper jams.If you cannot remove all jammed paper from the rear area of the printer, tryremoving paper jammed in the middle of the printer by opening the paper jamdoor located inside the top cover.
Open the paper jam door to clear paper jams in the middle of the printer.Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

I understand your frustration. Try this solution.

* Push down the purple paper lever located on the right side of the multi-purpose sheet feeder and pull the jammed paper upward and out of the feeder.
* Open the scanner cover by pulling the lever located below the control panel, toward you and lifting the cover. Make sure the cover is completely open. Check to see if any paper is left in the paper path.
*Close the scanner cover.
* Remove the paper in the multi-purpose sheet feeder. Adjust the guides in the sheet feeder to the position for the paper size you are using. Fan the paper well, push down the paper lever. Load the paper with the lever down. Make sure the print side is toward the fax machine and the paper level is stacked below the paper mark. The feeder can hold up to 200 sheets of paper (20lb paper) or up to 10 envelopes.
* Turn the power back on.

5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may work it loose.

5. Resend your document to print.

Ensure that:

• The paper is a recommended paper for inkjet printers.
• You do not force the paper down into the printer when you load it. For example, if you are loading letter or A4 size paper, the top edge of the paper should extend above the top of the sheet feeder.
• The printer is on a flat, level surface.
• The left paper guide is against the side of the paper.
