Most computers with Windows already have the majority of printers listed, unless the printer is rare when in the install page for printers it asks with disk or computer memory or soemthing like that. choose the computer memory option, then scroll through the list and find your printer, if you cannot find it in the list, you might also try to find it online, and just download it, try going to the manufacure of the printer, they may have a driver you can download and intall.

You have to borrow or buy the install disks (Not the recovery disks), the problem is that not all keys work with all copies of the system.

Ok try to hook and see if the system install it without a installation disk.

If this not resolve, then you have to find driver at lexmark websites.

then type X1240 you get option lexmark X1240 ...and then choose the OS and download the driver file and install in on your computer ......
