Paper jam in HP printer p3005n printer in between paper sensor+fuser assembly & toner

These printers have a problem with the bushings on the fuser, as they wear the gear drive moves away and you nolonger have drive to the fuser. HP has a kit, you replace the fuser and the gear driving it. At the same time, you should also replace the feed roller, both are simple to do with a phillips screw driver.
for your parts.

Every time we print or turn printer on it makes a very loud grinding noise. what are the possible causes

This is a common problem.

You need to replace the "fuser assembly" and make sure when you order it, that it comes with the extra gear. The instructions are simple. You will replace the fuser and the small gear located on the left side as you look in from the back.

If you are in the USA, or Canada, is a good place to buy this kit, and they warrantee the fuser for 6 months. The OEM HP Fuser is warranted for 30 days, and may not come with the gear.

Copies are coming out with a dark horizontal lines and printer is making a rather loud sound when paper is in printing process.

Two things that can cause print quality issues and noise.
1. The toner cartridge can cause lines and sometimes can make a squeaking noise.
2. The fuser can cause streaking and smudges on the prints and can cause a grinding noise if the drive gear is worn or the bushings are worn.

HP P3005 making grinding noises

this is a problem that HP refuses to acknowledges. Its caused by the gear that meshes with the main fuser wanders to the right as the printer prints. we are checking into a fix for this, since we are getting no cooperation for the manufacturer, Canon or HP. Canon makes the print engine

Grinding noise

This is caused by the swing arm (the part that drives the fuser) HP have modifed this, if you contact them, they may replace it free of charge. A short term solution is to wedge a piece of card or folded paper under the fuser assembly.
