Had the same problem with my easynote. Had to replace the keyboard. The exact model is on the back of the keyboard. Followed the instructions in the disassembly manual. Not a big job.

You should just need to replace the keyboard.

However finding a keyboard for a packard bell in the US can be hard. That brand hasnt been sold here in years.

If you are in europe it should be less of a problem though.
Made sure to get the exact model of the laptop to get the right keyboard.

Good luck!

Tab key not working

use the software diagnostic coming with DELL, this will indicate you if the keyboard is faulty. or the driver is corrupted. You need to uninstall and install the new driver update.

Broksonic 19 inch CCVG 1935 - no sound, no picture, just a blue screen

Blue screen means either no signal (if unit has rear connections hook a DVD etc to one and go to that input and see if it works) Or the blue may mean set is in shutdown----5 months old and it should still have a warranty?

SHIFT KEYS NOT WORKING PROPERLY

Please try to deactivate the Fn (function) key. That will help you get rid of your problem. Press Fn key + Numlock key once and try again. You can also try pressing the Fn key once and type letters in any word processor program with the key combination everytime you press the Fn key once. E.g. open the notepad, press Fn once and after that press ) with Shift.

If you have problem, let me know.

Good luck.

Worked great until a couple of months ago. Have

You can see network key by logging in to router settings. Some routers are 192.168.1.1 and some are 192.168.0.1. All you have to do is type it in to address bar on any browser and log in and under wireless tab it will give you field where it says wep or wpa encryption and this is what you need. Hope this helps.

Can't get my Mac to fully boot up

your problem is probably on the hard drive. The chime sound is a file and as to be read on the hard drive.
Try this: reboot system with cmd+s hold. Then type fsck -y or fsck -f (too long to explain, one of those will work) .
the computer compute and says:
***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****
type your fsck -y or -f again until the computer no longer says
***** FILE SYSTEM WAS MODIFIED *****
after that, you type reboot, or shut down and power again.
If this does'nt work, change the hard drive (mac shop - expensive)

Problem with sony vaio keyboard

Sounds like you've got something stuck under your shift key. Carefully clean out under the keys, try a paintbrush and a hoover (on low suction if possible).

Be careful not to knock any of the keys off. They're held on by small clips which pop out or break easily.
