Better tape decks, like Pioneer, may use a different mechanism for record/play than FF & REW. So it sounds like a belt or mechanical link for the REC/PLAY has failed.

Where can I get replacement belts?

They are hard to find but try the MCM Electronics catalog. You will need to know the dimensions of the belt (i.e. width, length...).

Good Luck !

Why one tape at deck A won"t come out. it stock inside unit

There are lots of causes to this. For example the mechanism has jammed. The tape has become entangled in the capstan or elsewhere. Plastic damage causing the mechanism to not move back to the eject position. Some decks have a powered eject that is faulty. Broken spring, or one that has fell off.

Deck plays forward, fast forward and fast reverse O.K., but does not play backwards.

I don't have any quick answers as this is a newer deck than when I worked for the company- I would have to see the deck to determine the fault. Do you have the continuous reverse switch on -maybe that is it.

Faulty Pioneer CT-W450R

Check to see if their is any voltage going to the motors. If not look at the power supply. Electrolytic Capacitors dry up when not being used and can cause faults like that.

Faulty CT-W450R

The rubber belts inside the unit have gotten stiff and slippery. All belts should be replaced. That will resolve the problem.

Dual Cassette Deck won't stop or auto-reverse

There is a tape tension sensor which, it appears, isn't working. Check to see if the linkage to this sensor may have been misaligned while you were replacing the belts. Also check to see that the sensor isn't binding or sticking.
